There are 3 primary optimizations in IoT-enabled commercial buildings: Tenant/Visitor UX, Asset Health, and Energy Conservation. Building Management Systems (BMS) have long used decision rules to govern HVAC, Security, Elevators, etc. But the future of smart buildings is grey-box, data-driven ML models. This talk will walk through the early stages of decision-making for implementing ML models in a new multi-billion dollar development in NYC.
