Connected things have so much potential to improve the operations and guest experience for retail, but you can’t do it without a full-featured platform that works at the edge in stores or distribution centers, is built with frugality, and fit the diverse use cases that retail faces. Target is right in the middle of making this happen; we’ll explain what we’ve done so far, the hurdles we’ve faced, and where we’re taking it.
